At Buy & Bite, we’ve always believed that good food brings people together. This year, we decided to take that idea one step further and add a splash of colour, a dash of creativity, and a cozy, community vibe.

That’s how Bite & Art was born – our new monthly workshop series that blends art, social connection, and delicious bites into one memorable afternoon.

A Look Back: Our First Bite & Art Workshop

In early November, we hosted our very first art workshop and it was everything we hoped for (and more). Guided by our talented local artist, guests began the session with a light-hearted ice-breaking activity that helped everyone relax, connect, and tap into their creative side – no prior art experience needed.

From there, the brushes came out and the creativity flowed. Guests spent the afternoon painting London-themed postcards, capturing the city’s charm in watercolour while enjoying a lovely afternoon tea session at Buy & Bite.

Surrounded by the aroma of fresh organic hot tea and the gentle buzz of conversation, the space transformed into a cozy studio where: new friendships were made, confidence was sparked, people took home not just their artwork, but warm memories.

The session will be led by Lynn Huang – A curator and art investment strategist with deep expertise in post-war and contemporary art. Lynn builds bridges between the European and Asian art worlds, and for this workshop, she’ll guide participants through a hands-on, intuitive textured art session, centred on creating a textured Christmas tree canvas.
